FRESH AIR OASIS IN THE NORTH
With the third-best air in the world, Finland is truly a fresh air oasis – this was determined by a recent study by the World Health Organization. In addition, one of the cleanest places on earth is in Finnish Lapland: the measuring station of the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) in Pallas is one of the places where the cleanest air in the world has been measured. This is partly due to the fact that Finland is the least densely populated country on earth. What’s more, the Finnish people are very well aware of the treasure they have in their natural resources, which they treat with corresponding respect.
